These terms cover use of this website and the initial refusal review. They should be reviewed by a qualified adviser before publication. Any engagement we take on will be governed by a separate written agreement, which takes precedence over this page.

The free refusal review

The refusal review is a free, initial assessment of the information you send us. It is our professional opinion on whether there is a credible route forward. It is not a commitment by us to take on your case, and it is not formal planning, legal, or professional advice you should rely on without a written engagement.

No guarantee of permission

Planning decisions are made by the local planning authority or the Planning Inspectorate, not by Efficient Planners. We do not guarantee that any application or appeal will succeed, and we make no success or money-back guarantee. We will give you our honest view of the prospects and the strongest route, but the outcome is outside our control.

Deadlines

Planning appeal deadlines vary by application type and enforcement context. Householder appeals in England generally must be submitted within 12 weeks of the decision notice. You remain responsible for any deadline until we have confirmed in writing that we are managing it for you.

Information you provide

You are responsible for the accuracy of the documents and details you send us. Our assessment is based on what you provide. We handle your information in line with our Privacy Notice.
